Tiffani Boerio:
One of the things I really appreciate about Tami is that she not only provides a very therapeutic deep tissue massage that targets areas of my body that need it most, she also helps me backtrack to discover how my body created such problem areas in the first place.  By examining my daily routines, use of equipment, tasks at work, and how I exercise, we are able to piece together trouble 'moves' that may be contributing to my pain.  She will often have suggestions of stretches, movements to avoid, sleeping positions, and exercises that will help to prevent the damage to my joints and muscles.  Nevertheless, when I return every three weeks with a new set of aches and pains, Tami massages them away.  I'm usually sore for a few days (though lots of water and Epsom salt baths really do work!), but then I feel amazing.  I have recommended Tami to at least a dozen friends after she literally saved my nursing career by bringing my writing hand/arm/joints back into use when I was trying to finish nursing school.  I will never forget it!  Thank you, Tami, you're the best!

Amber Tallas:
Amazing grace!! I was recommended by a friend to see Tami for a massage to deal with everyday stress and help enhance relaxation. I can say without a doubt Tami's massages are the best i have ever experienced. Her technique and professional approach is outstanding. She takes the time to ask if you have any areas you would like her to work on. She is very focused and attentive. Her intuitive sense is on target varying the pressure from quite strong to minimal stimulation. I find her sessions to be therapeutic and relaxing. I have and will continue to recommend Tami to everyone I know!!

Andrae Williams:
Talk about customize massages?  Wow!!  I’ve never worked with someone who can use their hands the way Miss Outlaw can.  My name is Andrae Williams; 2005, 2007 4x400m World Championship silver medalist, 2007 Pan American Games 4x400m gold medalist, and 2008 Beijing Olympics 4x400m silver medalist representing my country, The Bahamas.  I’ve been running track and field on the elite level for 9 years now.  During this time, I had pulled my hamstring two times and torn my left quadricep muscle and the inner part of my knee.  To add to the injuries, I also had micro muscle tears.  I have worked with many massage therapists in the past and all of them did great work,  but none of them can compare to the work that Miss Outlaw does.  I’m a strong believer in her work and her amazing talent to use her hands.  This is the first time in years that I can say that I’m running pain free. My muscles have never been so flexible, and my hips and hamstrings are not as tight anymore. The work that she does, wow!  Words can’t even explain.  To make it easy, I’ll say pretty darn amazing and out of this world.  I’m so happy and blessed that I have Miss Outlaw on my team as I prepare for the 2011 World Championship in athletics and the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Nicole J. Gilinsky:
I was introduced to Tami Outlaw in 2009 when I asked one of the strength and conditioning coaches for the Texas Tech University football team for a recommendation for a good massage therapist. Tami came highly recommended and I made my first appointment. That appointment happened to fall just a few days before my first race of the season. I was coming off a year (2008) of disappointing training and race performances and felt that my body was not as finely-tuned as it could be.
For my first appointment, Tami took into account the fact that I had a race coming up that week and worked on my body to get me race-ready. I had often experienced poor performances in the days following a massage so I did not hold high expectations for that race. This is where Tami sets herself apart from every other LMT I have known; she is utterly attuned to her clients’ needs and adjusts her technique accordingly. With Tami’s help, I won the race that weekend and was stunned by how well my body had responded to the massage. Needless to say, I was hooked!
I have been a regular client of Tami’s for two years and rely on her to help keep my body functioning optimally as an athlete. I put a lot of miles and time into my training and Tami’s work is essential to keeping me injury free, fresh, and excited about training and racing. In addition to aiding in my recovery, Tami’s work has prevented injury from occurring. With her help, I am able to recognize the signs of biomechanical inefficiency that may lead to injury. Tami has trained me to use techniques on myself that I can do at home which have actually allowed me to prevent and treat some of my own injuries or strains.
One of Tami’s skills that appreciate most is her ability take into account various symptoms that I might be experiencing and then formulate a plan for how to treat them. Her knowledge extends beyond the physical. Tami has a keen awareness of how one’s mental state manifests in physiological symptoms. Her approach to her clients is one of genuine care and compassion. How many massage therapists would attend their clients’ races and cheer for them from the sidelines on hot and windy days?! Tami takes the time and care to get to know her clients and understand their needs, therefore providing them with the best possible massage experience.
